If your information appears in one or more of the Business Profiles, please refer to the Business Profiles section in this privacy policy regarding the additional protections we offer for your information.
This privacy notice applies to all information collected through our Services (which, as described above, includes our Website), as well as, any related services, sales, marketing or events.

2. BUSINESS PROFILES
BounceBan collects publicly available contact information from a variety of sources and creates profiles of business people and companies, which we call “Business Profiles.” If your information appears in one or more of such Business Profiles, you will be covered by these additional protections described in this section.
How does BounceBan gather information for its Business Profiles?
Business Profiles may include:name, email address, job title and department, phone number, company name, postal address of company and business-related postal address of the person, employment history, and education history.
BounceBan obtains the data for its Business Profiles from multiple sources, including:
- We use search technology to gather publicly available information from the web.
- We license information from other companies when they possess the expertise or resources we don’t have.
- Users enter Business Information about themselves or other businesses and people. Through surveys and phone interviews conducted by our in-house research team.
BounceBan also offers certain Business Information from its business profiles in the public directory on our site. This includes past or current name, company, company headquarters telephone number, office address and job title and other information.
How we Share Information
We may share any Business Information with our strategic partners and with our customers.
Please note that we make certain limited Business Information from Information on the Business Profiles we have gathered publicly available in our Public Directory on our Site.
We may share Business Information with affiliates to help us provide services to you and others, including our current and future parents and subsidiaries, who may also act for us for any of the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
BounceBan may share Business Information with services providers to provide certain services related to the operation of the Site and for no other purpose.
When customers use BounceBan’s integrations, such as web browser extensions, customer data may be shared with the customer’s CRM or other services as requested or directed by the customer.
In the event of company acquisition, merger, or bankruptcy, information about you and/or information you provide to BounceBan may be transferred to a third party.
How We Protect Your Information
When you enter sensitive information on our registration forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). This security measure has been implemented to protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use.
We use commercially acceptable safeguards to protect the information you submit to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

BounceBan's collection of Business Information and the creation and licensing of BounceBan's Business Profiles and Directory (Business Profiles/Directory) is within BounceBan's legitimate interests to organize and make available business contact information given the limited impact of this data.
Users from the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland have the right to lodge a complaint about our data collection and processing practices with the supervisory authority concerned.
Your personal information may be transferred to, and stored or processed in, the United States or any other country in which we or our affiliates or subcontractors maintain facilities. As required by the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), we will ensure that any transfers of personal information to a third country or an international organization are subject to appropriate safeguards as described in Article 46 of the GDPR.

BounceBan endeavors to comply with the provisions of the GDPR as to any information in its possession regarding persons in the European Union (“data subjects”). Therefore, BounceBan processes personal information only when it has a lawful basis to do so, which may include consent from the person (especially in the case of visitors who submit their information), performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, or for the legitimate interest of the controller or a third party. BounceBan is committed to the responsible handling of personal information, and complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States.

3. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). Account Information
If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can:

13. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.
14. DO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?
In Short: Yes, if you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.
California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the "Shine The Light" law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. Right to request deletion of the data - Request to delete
You can ask for the deletion of your personal information. If you ask us to delete your personal information, we will respect your request and delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions provided by law, such as (but not limited to) the exercise by another consumer of his or her right to free speech, our compliance requirements resulting from a legal obligation or any processing that may be required to protect against illegal activities.

Verification process
